Thanks to all of you for
your wonderful e-mails about PATCHWORK FAMILY! If you haven’t visited my
site lately, you might not know: that book won the Best Inspirational
Fiction/Romance Book of
2005 award from Romance Reviews Today! I’m
particularly pleased about this because I didn’t submit my book for
consideration--they chose it from all the Inspie romances they reviewed last
year! This was a special honor, indeed.
Those of you who sent me your mailing addresses will soon be receiving bookmarks/postcards for
JOURNEY TO LOVE...
those of you who would like those goodies, let me know! And if you’d like an autographed copy of that book,
$8 will make it yours (includes postage). Drop me a note at
cmhubbard@earthlink.net--or through my website message box--
and I’ll drop it in the mail!
Want a sneak peak? Visit me at
CharlotteHubbard.com and click to read the first chapter! You’ll see it takes up right
where PATCHWORK FAMILY left off--and that Christine is in top form as the snippy, exasperating 16-year-old you remember!
She was a challenge to write as an inspiring, uplifting heroine, but her mission has always been to go after her wayward mama:
she lives up to that...and learns some tough lessons along the way. I think she grows up fast, but well. It’s all you can ask of
a teenager in love!
Right now? I’ve almost finished the main draft of #3 for this series, Billy’s book. Titles come and go, but right now we’re
calling it ANGEL’S EMBRACE and it’s due out in April, ‘07.
Thanks again for your nice e-mails and your support for my series. Happy reading--and let me know what you think of
Christine’s story!
